Despite Yui telling him to run away, Shouta still rushes to her side and is shocked to see the real form of the pseudo-Arrancar appear behind her. Yui pushes Shouta out of the way right before the pseudo-Arrancar tries to crush him, but Shouta still says that he doesn?t want to abandon her again. However, Yui then gets turned back into one of the pseudo-Arrancar?s minions and gets sucked up by its true form. When Rangiku tries to fight it, she manages to get in a few hits, but it then sends its minions after Shouta, distracting her long enough for the pseudo-Arrancar to go on the offensive.

Bleach is an ongoing manga series authored by mangaka Tite Kubo. Since its debut in 2001, Bleach has been adapted into an anime series, two OVAs, an anime film, a rock musical, and numerous video games. Compilation volumes of the manga have sold over 39 million copies in Japan.

Bleach follows the lives of Ichigo Kurosaki, who is a high school student with the ability to see ghosts, and a shinigami (Soul Reaper or, literally, “death god”) named Rukia Kuchiki, who crosses paths with Ichigo while hunting an evil spirit known as a hollow. Rukia is wounded during the ensuing confrontation with the spirit and is left with no choice but to transfer her powers into Ichigo. Thus the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia begin. Together they search for hollows and perform soul burials on wayward souls, cleansing the spirits and sending them to Soul Society. The early parts of the story focus mainly on the characters and their pasts, rather than the actual occupation of the shinigami. As events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of these gods of death on the “other side” called Soul Society.

A New Enemy! The Materialization of Zanpakut??

The plot is pretty much straightforward. Several shinigami realize that they can’t use the shikai form of their Zanpaktous. Among them are Matsumoto, Toshiro, and even Byakuya senses that something is amiss. Eventually they get summons from the Captain Commander and they all meet up but they are suddenly surprised to find out that the person who actually called them there was a weird looking man named Muramasa.

Komamura releases his Bankai and attacks Muramasa. However, his Bankai turns on him and he barely avoids an overhead blow by Tengen. The huge Bankai then dissipates and is replaced by an almost demonic man with a fiery whip and a huge sword. Apparently, this is the freed physical manifestation of Tengen. The freed Zanpaktou easily crushes Komamura.

“The Rug Shinigami is Born!”

Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy that has an ability to see ghosts/spirits. Because of his ability, he is able to meet a female death god (a.k.a Shinigami) named Kuchiki Rukia. To save his family and friends from unwanted soul-eating spirits (Hollows), Rukia transfers her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. As Rukia takes on a human shell, together they solve mysteries involving spirits and hollows until from the spirit world comes 2 other shinigamis explaining that it is illegal to transfer Shinigami powers to humans and Rukia exceeded the time limit to stay in the human world. After they sentence her death for breaking the laws, Ichigo snaps and swears to everyone he will retrieve Rukia.
